Expanding our team in Sofia, Bulgaria, we are looking for a Senior Corporate Finance Analyst.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the financial control of projects across their full lifecycle (EPC, construction, O&M);
  • Collect, consolidate, and validate financial data from accounting, project management, and procurement teams;
  • Monitor and analyse budget vs actual vs forecast, identifying deviations and financial risks;
  • Develop and maintain project cash flow forecasts and track actual cash movements;
  • Track and reconcile project-related costs (purchase orders, invoices, commitments) and revenues;
  • Identify cost overruns, delays, and support corrective actions;
  • Ensure consistency and transparency of financial data across projects and countries;
  • Prepare regular management reports on project performance, margins, and key KPIs;
  • Act as a business partner to Project Managers and country teams;
  • Drive improvements and standardisation of project controlling processes and tools;
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decision-making.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
  • 5–8+ years of experience in project controlling, financial controlling, or project finance;
  • Experience in construction, energy, or infrastructure projects is considered a strong advantage;
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and cash flow management;
  • Experience working in a multi-country or multi-entity environment;
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; Power BI is an advantage;
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred);
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to challenge and validate data;
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
