Expanding our team in one of our European locations – Sofia (Bulgaria), Munich (Germany) London (UK), Copenhagen (Denmark) or Bucharest (Romania) we are looking for a Regional Health, Safety and Environment Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of HSE experts and specialists across European offices;
- Oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities across company offices and renewable energy project sites;
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, internal policies, and company standards in all relevant geographies;
- Manage relationships with external HSE service providers and regulatory authorities;
- Support incident management, investigations, and reporting across project locations;
- Contribute to HSE planning for renewable energy construction projects, including emergency response and risk prevention;
- Develop and improve HSE processes, training programs, and digital learning materials;
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement;
- Support HSE documentation and expertise for international bids and tenders;
- The role involves 25–50% international travel.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Health and Safety, Environment or a related field;
- 8-10 years of Health and Safety experience in construction, manufacturing or a similar industry;
- Great project/program management skills and an ability to move forward multiple actions simultaneously ;
- Great communicator, good influencing skills and comfortable coordinating across multiple stakeholders;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Organized, proactive, and able to navigate a very dynamic work environment;
- Excellent English skills;
- Experience with HSE management in the renewables industry is a plus;
- Experience with HSE in multiple European geographies is a plus;
- Passion for maintaining safe work environments and preserving people’s health.
