Expanding our team in Sofia, Bulgaria, we are looking for a Quality Control Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares quality check list templates for the quality control on every construction site and on all, or to which it is applicable, types of work;
• Supports, where required in terms of meeting deadlines, the preparation of check lists themselves by filling in the respective controlled units with their correct numeration.
• Coordinates with the project management the criteria and tolerances as well as, in terms of construction site progress, the deadlines to submit the blank-check lists to a site, and their request afterwards with filled in the executed checks;
• Leads communication with the site-based Quality Managers and the site-based controllers responsible for the managers, that is related to the submission of the blank-check lists and receiving the filled-in ones.
• Follows up the progress of the performed controls to correspond to the progress of the type of works on the construction sites and assures the checklists of executed checks to be prepared for sending within the deadlines set by the client;
• Performs quality monitoring of the reported data in the provided quality check lists. When any non-conformity is identified, investigate the reason for it with the ones who submitted the checklist and assures the fill-in of the correct info/data;
• Makes analysis of reported data and extracts data for non-conformity/out-of-tolerance reports.
• Delivers training to the site quality controllers in the specifics of the inspections performed and cooperates them in the inspections process to increase their qualifications and improving the inspection process for quality performance of activities;
• Collaborates with technical teams to review and resolve any identified quality discrepancies;
• Maintains neat and accurate documentation of quality control activities in the file of each site.

Requirements:

• Engineering education;
• At least 6 months of experience at a construction site
• Computer literacy - MS Office, Internet, digital applications;
• English - written and spoken;
• Proficiency in German would be considered an advantage;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication skills.
