Behind every large-scale energy project is a complex flow of materials that needs to be accurately tracked from delivery through installation.

SUNOTEC is an international system integrator of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure, with more than 680 projects and over 15 GW of installed renewable energy capacity across multiple markets.

 

As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a Project Materials Reporting Specialist to ensure accurate and timely tracking of materials across our projects.

The position is offered on a fixed-term basis as maternity cover, providing the opportunity to take ownership of an important role within our project operations and work closely with teams across the organization.

 

Why this role matters

In this role, you will help ensure that information on materials delivered to and used across our projects is complete, accurate and properly reflected in SAP.

You will work with delivery and project documentation, identify discrepancies and coordinate with Finance and other internal teams to maintain reliable material records throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Where you’ll make an impact

  • Track material deliveries across projects, reviewing, processing and organizing the supporting documentation;
  • Reconcile ordered and delivered materials, identifying discrepancies and supporting their timely resolution;
  • Enter, process and maintain material data in SAP MM, ensuring accurate allocation by project and location;
  • Track the movement and use of materials throughout project execution based on the relevant documentation and information provided by responsible teams;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date material records in SAP and ensure information is entered and corrected in a timely manner;
  • Support the monthly materials reporting process, including reconciliation of delivered and utilized materials across projects;
  • Work closely with Finance and other internal teams to clarify discrepancies and ensure accurate material reporting;
  • Maintain well-organized and traceable documentation related to material deliveries, movements and reporting.

 

What will help you succeed

  • A university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field;
  • Experience in materials reporting, project administration, logistics or a similar role;
  • Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP MM is a strong advantage;
  • Good understanding of material deliveries, movements and related documentation;
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, and confidence working with data;
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize, reconcile and verify information accurately;
  • A structured and responsible approach, with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and coordinate effectively with different teams.
