SUNOTEC positions itself as an integrated solution provider, covering all services from geology, procurement, engineering and construction services to operations and maintenance and re-powering of plants with a large focus on BESS.

Expanding our Team in Denmark we are currently looking for an Operations & Maintenance Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance (O&M) of photovoltaic (PV) power plants in the local market, ensuring optimal performance and full compliance with contractual obligations;
• Review project plans, technical specifications, and installation instructions to verify alignment with approved designs and standards;
• Ensure the fulfillment of all warranty and service commitments, including contract management, warranty administration, and site operations;
• Manage and coordinate system repairs, inspections, service calls, site visits, and system commissioning activities;
• Lead the daily task planning and delegation within the O&M department, ensuring efficient service delivery and minimizing plant downtime;
• Supervise internal service teams and manage relationships with external O&M contractors and field operations leads;
• Support the implementation and adherence to the local Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) system;
• Maintain regular communication with project owners, investors, and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, transparent reporting, and smooth project execution.

Requirements:

• Relevant technical education (e.g. electrician, installer or automation technician);
• Experience in Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of utility-scale photovoltaic power plants is an advantage;
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical components, SCADA systems is an advantage;
• Experience in managing O&M contractors, field teams, and technical personnel;
• Solid understanding of HSE regulations and commitment to implementing safety procedures on-site;
• Fluency in English is required; Danish is an advantage;
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to PV sites across Denmark.
