Expanding our UK operations, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a dual focus on establishing our O&M division and providing strategic support to our EPC delivery teams.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the establishment of a UK O&M business, including acting as the ‘Contractor Representative’ within the initial contracts and the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the seamless transition from construction to long-term maintenance;
• Interfaceс with Sunotec O&M business based in Sofia, Bulgaria who will provide the performance /monitoring services for UK based assets;
• Develops supplier agreements: with UK based service providers for; LV/ MV maintenance, CCTV monitoring and other security services, ground management services and other Solar park maintenance services;
• Acts as a ‘Bottleneck Remover’ by auditing existing EPC project workflows, identifying points of friction, and implementing solutions to ensure fluid project delivery;
• Conducts comprehensive reviews of tender packages to ensure technical/commercial viability and alignment with O&M requirements;
• Provides technical and strategic support to construction PMs during critical phases, assisting in resource allocation and overcoming supply chain or permitting hurdles;
• Ensures all O&M and project activities strictly comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and regulations;
• Mentors junior project managers and fosters a culture of continuous improvement across the EPC portfolio.

Requirements:

• Project Management, Renewable Energy, or a related Engineering field; PM certification is highly desirable but not essential;
• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in project management within the solar EPC or renewable energy sector;
• Proven track record in setting up or managing O&M divisions for utility-scale or commercial solar projects;
• Experience in the detailed review of complex tender packages and contract negotiations;
• Strong understanding of solar technology, electrical systems, and monitoring software;
• Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment, with the ability to travel for office meetings and site visits.
