Expanding our team in Sofia, Bulgaria, we are looking for an Investment Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Work with project finance model templates to analyze financial outcomes, implement structural changes, and develop new functionalities as needed;
- Prepare tailored financial reports and model outputs for lenders, investors, and internal stakeholders;
- Support and coordinate the technical and legal due diligence (TDD and LDD) processes by gathering data from internal teams (development, engineering, legal, asset management, etc.);
- Assist in managing third-party advisors involved in the due diligence and project finance processes;
- Help maintain internal trackers, data rooms, and project documentation;
- Contribute to internal process improvements, template development, and knowledge management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field;
- 2-3 years of experience in project finance, banking, M&A consulting, financial advisory or renewable energy financing;
- Strong Excel skills;
- Previous experience with project finance modelling is preferred;
- Familiarity with basic project finance concepts (debt sizing, DSCR, IRR, etc.);
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets and documentation;
- Clear communicator who is comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and tight dead-lines;
- Organized, proactive, and eager to learn;
- Full proficiency in English language;
- German language is an advantage.
