Expanding our team in Sofia, Bulgaria, we are looking for a Insurance Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the central point of contact for all insurance-related matters across the Group and ensures continuous and adequate insurance coverage for all Group companies and projects – CAR, Liability (general, professional), Fleet (vehicles, heavy equipment), Property & Assets insurance and other;
  • Manages relationships with insurance brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders;
  • Coordinates the placement, renewal, administration, and maintenance of the Group’s insurance policies and contracts;
  • Reviews insurance policies, endorsements, and coverage structures, ensuring compliance with contractual and business requirements;
  • Reviews and revises insurance-related clauses in client contracts and tender documentation;
  • Manages and coordinates insurance claims, ensuring efficient handling and resolution;
  • Prepares reports and maintains accurate records of policies, claims, insured assets, and risk exposures;
  • Supports due diligence processes, audits, and compliance reviews.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Insurance, Finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in corporate property insurance, insurance broking, and financial instruments;
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and construction-related insurance products and practices;
  • Strong understanding of insurance policy wording, coverage structures, exclusions, and claims processes;
  • Experience in managing and administrating international insurance programs for construction, engineering, renewable energy, or industrial projects considered a strong advantage;
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic international environment;
  • Experience working with online insurer platforms;
  • Professional proficiency in English.
