Expanding our team in Sofia, Bulgaria, we are looking for a Health and Safety Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety compliance across company operations in Bulgaria (construction, manufacturing, logistics, and administration);
- Assist in maintaining communication and cooperation with regulatory authorities on Health & Safety matters;
- Support the coordination with the Occupational Health (Labour Medicine) provider across all Bulgarian entities;
- Assist in incident management processes, including communication, documentation, and coordination with Legal, authorities, insurance companies, and employees;
- Provide Health & Safety documentation and support for international bids and tender submissions;
- Contribute to the preparation of Health & Safety and Emergency Response plans for projects worldwide;
- Support the development and improvement of Health & Safety processes, policies, and procedures;
- Assist in managing Health & Safety training materials and the digital training platform.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Health and Safety or a related field;
- 1-2 years of Health and Safety experience in construction, manufacturing or a similar industry;
- Great project/program management skills and an ability to move forward multiple actions simultaneously;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Organized, proactive, and able to navigate a very dynamic work environment;
- Excellent English skills;
- Experience with Health and Safety management and/or more than 1 European geography is a plus;
- Passion for maintaining safe work environments and preserving people’s health.
