Expanding our team in Sofia, Bulgaria, we are looking for a Health and Safety Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations across all company operations in Bulgaria (construction, manufacturing, logistics, and administration);
  • Act as the main point of contact with regulatory authorities on Health & Safety matters;
  • Manage the relationship with the Occupational Health (Labor Medicine) provider for all Bulgarian entities;
  • Lead incident management processes, including investigation, documentation, and coordination with Legal, authorities, and insurance partners;
  • Provide Health & Safety expertise and documentation for international bids and tender submissions;
  • Develop Health & Safety and Emergency Response plans for projects worldwide;
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of H&S processes, standards, and procedures across the organization;
  • Develop and manage Health & Safety training programs and digital learning materials to support employee awareness and compliance. 

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Health and Safety or a related field;
  • 3-5 years of Health and Safety experience in construction, manufacturing or a similar industry;
  • Great project/program management skills and an ability to move forward multiple actions simultaneously;
  • Great communicator, good influencing skills and comfortable coordinating across multiple stakeholders;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Organized, proactive, and able to navigate a very dynamic work environment;
  • Excellent English skills;
  • Experience with Health and Safety management and/or more than 1 European geography is a plus;
  • Passion for maintaining safe work environments and preserving people’s health.
