Expanding our SUNOTEC Mounting Systems-Team in Munich, we are looking for a Technical Documentation Manager.

Responsibilities:

As a Documentation Manager in the field of utility solar energy, you will play a key role in the creating and managing product documentation for Tracker and Fixed Tilt Systems:

• Creating, maintaining and managing technical documentation for our solar mounting systems (installation instructions, technical specifications, product data sheets, training documents);
• Ensuring compliance with legal and normative requirements (e.g. DIN, EN, ISO, CE marking, UL);
• Developing standardized documentation processes for various product lines (project specific);
• Working closely with product management, development and quality assurance to obtain technical information;
• Creating and Optimizing existing documentation in terms of technical completeness and comprehensibility, structure and visual presentation;
• Managing external service providers and translation agencies;
• Supporting internal teams with training and technical information;
• Supporting certification processes and declarations of conformity.

Requirements:

• Degree in Technical Communication / Mechanical Engineering / Renewable Energies or comparable qualification;
• Several years of experience in technical documentation, ideally in the field of solar mounting systems, mechanical engineering or civil engineering;
• Sound knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines for mounting systems and constructions;
• Experience with editing systems and documentation tools;
• Technical understanding of statics, materials science and assembly systems;
• Very good written and oral skills in German and English;
• Technical understanding of statics, materials science and mounting systems;
• Structured, detail-oriented and independent working style;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex content in an understandable way.
