Expanding our SUNOTEC Mounting Systems-Team in Munich, we are looking for a Technical Documentation Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and designs photovoltaic systems (ground-mounted, carports, and special solutions);
• Develops technical concepts, layouts, and string plans;
• Sizes modules, inverters, mounting structures, and electrical components;
• Conducts yield, shading, and profitability analyses;
• Plans grid connections and coordinates with grid operators;
• Ensures technical feasibility and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., VDE, IEC);
• Supports project management during quotation and execution phases;
• Coordinates technically with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners;
• Prepares and maintains technical documentation and planning records;
• Provides technical support through commissioning.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Energy/Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification;
• Experience in PV or electrical energy system planning;
• Proficient in planning and simulation software (e.g., PV*Sol, PVSyst, AutoCAD);
• Knowledge of grid connection and relevant electrical standards;
• Analytical, structured team player with strong communication skills;
• Very good German and good English skills.
